Gene Lebrock is an Emmy-winning producer, director, and educator with over 20 years of experience in film, live events, and content strategy. As a former Chair of Digital Cinema and Creative Director at FIDM Productions, Gene redefined filmmaking and live broadcast education in Los Angeles through his innovative multi-camera productions.
Before stepping behind the camera, Gene captivated audiences as an actor, starring in Metamorphosis, Beyond Darkness, Strong City, and General Hospital. A Berklee College of Music graduate and former studio drummer, he toured and recorded with music legends, honing the rhythm and emotional depth that now define his storytelling as a director, composer, and editor.
Gene’s upcoming documentary, Music Therapy, explores the transformative power of sound, embodying his belief that “when medicine ends, music begins.” From the drum stage to the director’s chair, Gene’s career is a testament to creativity, resilience, and the art of storytelling.
